I feel like I keep seeing these discussions about Peeta Mellark and how “weak and terrible” he is. And while I don’t agree with that assessment at all, we’re ignoring the real issue here.
What we fundamentally need to talk about is how strong these women are. I was listening to the Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast today and they were raving about how rare it is to have not one, but two alpha females in the same story. And their conversations are never about men, fighting over men and how to make them love them.
These are strong women, who don’t take shit from people. Who sometimes literally stand up and say fuck you to the people putting them through these things.
So the question then becomes why are we making a negative out of someone who doesn’t conform to gender stereotypes of strength, instead of celebrating the women who don’t conform to gender stereotypes in a strong, positive and self-affirming way.
I know its a little early but

He left the room with his eyes burning and his daughter’s wails echoing in his ears, and found the direwolf pup where they chained her. Ned sat beside her for a while. “Lady,” he said, tasting the name. He had never paid much attention to the names the children had picked, but looking at her now, he knew that Sansa had chosen well. She was the smallest of the litter, the prettiest, the most gentle and trusting. She looked at him with bright golden eyes, and he ruffled her thick grey fur.
this is so important
Oh my god
This is so bad. Look how unrealistic they look after hair and makeup! They look fake and no women should look up to thAt. Everyone is beautiful in their own way and they all need to start realizing that and embracing it rather than trying to look and be like someone they aren’t.
or maybe they dont do makeup for you and they do it because that’s who they feel like they are and they like being in makeup and looking like that and not because they want to be someone they’re not wow what a concept

Actually if you are working with people who are dyslexic please use comic sans. The kerning and lack of serifs, combined with the spacing and clarity of each letter really helps them. This was great until the font elitism.
! huh. I honestly dod not know that bit about Comic Sans.
Plus, comic sans ALWAYS screams fun.
"I brought that back, I threw it in there," she [Elizabeth Banks] said of the line, which was unscripted. "I did it, and Francis called cut, and I went over to him, and said, ‘You have to keep that in the movie, because the fans will go bananas.’ "
